Qiddiya City is the world’s first city built for Play, where you can live, work, and visit. It’s a place to shop, eat, explore, learn, and develop. Our vision is to establish a vibrant hub for entertainment, sports, and culture, covering all the essentials of modern, urban living.

Qiddiya City is located southwest of Saudi Arabia’s capital, 70km from King Khalid International Airport (RUH) and only 45km from Downtown Riyadh. The city is accessible by car or via the Riyadh Metro. Check out our Plan Your Visit page for more info.

Of course! There’s plenty to do for everyone in Qiddiya City, spanning all age groups and sensibilities.

A wide range of hotels and apartments are currently under development. Until they are completed, we recommend staying in Downtown Riyadh, where you are spoilt for choice, and commute to Qiddiya City from there.

Currently, it’s a destination for visiting. The near future, however, no fewer than 20 residential neighborhoods will open, each built on brand-new, robust infrastructure designed with Play in mind.

A city is never finished; it evolves, expands, and constantly improves (and adds onto) its offerings, from fun and games to education and healthcare. In short, Qiddiya City won’t ever finish because that’s not what cities do. It is, however, open. And we look forward to seeing you there!
